Ok sorry in that case go to the start menu, run and type in Dx diag and click on ok. The DX diag will show up click on save all information, remember where you save it. Then come back here create a new reply for this message then go to manage attachments and upload your DX diag.

If you are running Vista it is hard to find(I searched for a long time to find it). In All Programs=>accesories=>run.

In the mean time make sure you have your game patched to version 1.2 and that have a current version of DirectX 9.0c (or the version off the Caesar IV disc) installed.
You can tell what version Caesar IV you have by opening the folder where you have Caesar IV installed and then hovering your mouse cursor over the CaesarIV.exe file. If the file version says "1.2.0.0", you have the current version and don't need the patch. The official Caesar IV website is no more, but you can get the patches from here: http://caesar4.heavengames.com/downl...tegory=patches And as suggested, post your dxdiag.txt file. |

You have XP pro on this machine. Try updating your audio/video drivers.

As Rnett suggested you need to update your video drivers to at the least the middle of 2008.

You don't need a new video card just newer drivers for the video card in your system.
