So I left Nile Online but like a siren it drew me back... Now I see that I have to pay to have my palace expanded beyond lvl 6 and cried about it. What have I missed in the last year and if anyone is in the area of 126S on Theoris I could sure use trading partners My cap city is on cedar.

Probably the biggest thing that was released in the past year are the quests. You can start doing these at level 7, and you can get bricks, construction bonuses, profile items, and the occasional scarab by completing them.

Scarabs can also be sent from player to player, though the sender must have at least 11 scarabs in his/her possession to do so. People are trading luxury goods for scarabs based on this...
