Hey Phil, Thanks for the info.

When i went there and then checked for Drivers it actually took me to version 91.47 released Sept 01, 2006. (Probably about 30 mins after you posted this like Eh);)

Since I've forgetten my HTML tag syntax:confused: , can you link to it for the others please?

Drizzy - For the record I haven't seen this lag that others are talking about

The 91.47 drivers for Geforce and TNT2 cards for Windows 2000 and XP were put up a day or so ago.

The Geforce Go 7 series cards are still stuck with their 84.63 drivers.

Phil,

I can appreciate you not wanting to endorse a driver which you haven't tested yet. I was more just pointing it out to you and others, if you didn't know.

I haven't gotten around to installing either driver as I'm off to work in 30 mins and haven't had a chance...maybe tonight I'll be able to update. (I'm running a GeForce 6600 LE with Driver 6.14(dated July 2005:eek: when my computer is new as off Feb 2006:confused: ) and having no problems with lag and mid level settings)

I just about LMAOout of my chair when I saw the irony in nVidia coming out with a new driver just as you post this. That's the kind of luck I have too:p

BTW; A "LE" card is not a high-end card. All ending in "E" are the lesser line. You should have gotten a GS or GT would have been a better choice overall, IMO. You may get by with performance, but picture quality won't be as good and that is more important to me and I have no lag either with picture quality, not performance, set as high as possible on all my games with my vision as it is.

Well I got the best computer I could afford....after spending 8+ months with no good machine and using the one we got for the kids for 6 of those (P2  ) that was only good for getting onto Pogo.com and playing games there. I'm happy with it....and at least I can upgrade it, if ever have any extra. :)

Drizzy - Taking collections for new Vcard and more RAM :p

Thanks for the information. I have downloaded the October 2006 91.47 drivers and now realize from your information that I need a new graphics card. I've been waiting to try this game and always download demos first to make sure that my IBM will run them, before going out and buying the game itself.
