Ok the game runs and i can change settings etc etc.

i can run one tutorial misson, the last of the three (though i havent tried the first) but any other campaign, or tutorial i try it will simply go to the load screen go through a small chunk of the bar then crash to windows.

Ive read some of the other threads and tried getting the latest drivers etc but it does not seem to be working =(

any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh as an aside the Demo works perfectly fine.

Hi.
First of all, you should make more room on your harddrive. It's nearly full! IIRC Windows needs about 20% of the harddrive space to swap files. So delete unnecessary programs, burn files onto dvd/cd which you don't need sitting on the hd.

Then you should also download and install Window XP Service Pack 2 - but only after you've freed up that harddrive.

Have you tried downloading the nvidia 61.77 drivers, uninstalling your current video drivers and - after a reboot - installing the 61.77 ones? A lot of people could run the game well with that driver version.

And a last question: What is your drive E? A cd rom drive?

Then, I suppose the SoundMax Audio is the soundchip on your motherboard - turn it off in the bios. You already have a SB Audigy, you should not have a second audiochip running at the same time.
Look for newer sound drivers for your SB Audigy card.

well i can get it to run as someone mentioned in another thread....launching them through the editor..but apparantly thats going to crap out after a while *sigh*

i wasnt even aware the sound chip on the MB was enabled ill go turn that off now.

Id prefer to not upgrade to service pack 2 but if nothing else works i will do so i guess.

One thing, i have a relatively old Gcard..i was sort of expecting that to be the issue. How likely do you think that is it? as i am planning on buying a new one very soon before I do anything more drastic to my system i wonder if i should wait and see the effect it has?
