This thread is NOT about Tilted Mill, cuz Technical Issues are their job.
This thread is about others. I am not in any way a Technical person. I actually am Computer Stupid. I also hate Kudos, especially to me, cuz it creates an atmosphere of Elitism. I hate that. We are no different from the new player, lost & confused. We are here to help. Me in my own limited way. I also hate the rungs concept for the same reason.
However, this is a VERY special case. Where would we be if The Game didn't work for us?
There are people on this forum who are always here to help players get their game to work. They did it for COTN & are STILL here, every day, to help with C4.
I am singling out Keith Heitmann ( Keith ) especially, cuz he has always done this. Here & Older CB forums. Waaay back yonder, on the old Sierra Forums, Keith helped me to get the Pharaoh Demo to work, when I switched to my Sony with XP & taught me about XP's Compatability Mode. The full Pharaoh worked on my computer, but I got no sound on the Demo.
Keith also answered my very first post on this forum in Dec 2004 & told me to buy the Radeon 9800 Pro that allowed me to play the Campaigns for COTN, since I could only play the Tutorials.
Keith is still here. He ALWAYS is here! :)
Next is Manni. Manni spends most time in the Foreign Language Section, but also is extremely helpful in the English Section. :)
Phil Walker is a relative newcomer, if you consider 02-19-2005 "new", but Phil took some time before he joined into helping with technical issues. Phil also is here every day to help. :)
Sorry if I left out anyone, cuz I definitely know there are more of you, especially in the Foreign Language Section!
