Hi there.

When playing the demo, it seems fairly smooth. Scrolling is nice, and animation is nice and smooth too. I have noticed however that the interface buttons seem to be very laggy. Sometime it takes two or three clicks to activate a button like the build road button, or the demolish button. I am hoping this will already be on your list of things to resolve for the release version, but I thought I would make this post just to make certain.

My specs are in the DxDiag.txt file below.

Yep, that's been around since CotN. Keyboard scans need increasing.

Huh? :p Is this something that will be fixed do you think? Or is there something I can do to improve this? And how will keyboard scans affect clicking on UI buttons with the mouse?

My typing got ahead of the brain. I should have said that the scan checks for the mouse clicks need improving. Maybe things will improve once the game is optimized, although CotN still tends to present this same irritating problem.

Have Tilted Mill acknowledged this as a problem then? Or are we just assuming it will be optimised prior to release?

I'm sure they are aware of it, if not before, they are now. What they can do about it I can't say. Optimizing the game code will probalby help execution-wise, but how much it will improve the mouse click function I don't know.

I also facing this problem too. I got another 'a few clicks to apply' on housing. I pressed a few times to place it. Or, sometimes 1 click will put it there and cannot turn.....

Thanks:)
