House's and Roads are White!!

Why are all the building and roads white?
When I put down any new buildings or roads they are white, occasionally they become full colour, but they revert back to white.

Is this a bug? Or difficulties with my specs.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I have Xp with all latest updates. Latest DivX Very new Graphics card, etc.
Can anyone help?

Might be a driver problem or you've put the video settings in the game too high. Please attach your dxdiag file, without it we can't help you. Thank you.

It does sound like your drivers are not up to date or it could be your video card.

Please attach a copy of your dxdiag.txt file.

I had this probelm at first too. I playing with various graphics settings and this fixed it. Then I decided to turn shadows to none to see if it would improve performance. When I went back in the roads, buildings and people were all white (will offwhite...kinda cloud-like in color but anway;) ) So turning shadows back on made everything look normal again.
