When I hit enter to bring up the cheat code box, I am unable to tyoe anythinhg into it. Can anyone help me fix this problem, I know its a cheat but need to speed something up a little.

Sorry, mate, but I have not tried them before.

I did try them in Empire Earth however, so it should be the same. Can you click inside the text box of that dialog pop-up? That should theoretically place a cursor there for you to type.

In the .ini file there is an option to disable cheats. That might be the problem. Other then that, just set your speed to 10.00 and play around at that speed.

First of all, others are thinking you are talking about game speed. I do not think this is what you mean. I think you want goods to speed up a pyramid or something like that. However, you are not clear.

The CHEAT function is difficult to use. It is either case sensitive, space sensitive or punctuation sensitive. When I tried it, I had a lot of problems even getting it to work myself.

I'm not even sure that it works on an unpatched game.

Let's clear one thing up, first. Can you type anything into the box? Do you get a flashing cursor in the box?

After you get it to work, then STOP CHEATING! :p :eek: :)

I have occasionally used a cheat code. If I use Bast and a # it works if you pull up a workshop. I usually use a weapons maker, then hit enter, Bast and the # of the product you need. Or pull up a brickmaker and Ptah and the # you need (6 for straw bricks), you'll get 100 bricks in that particular brickmaker.

Don't for get that at the end of the scenario you do get a degrading message from Maat.
