Can anyone help me? This question is for those who understand of computer and stuff. I bought Children of the Nile in 2004, and have played ever since. But I want to enhance my gaming experience by buying a Video Graphics Card. So I got many recomendations and the one I decided to buy was:

PNY Verto GeForce 6600 256MB DDR AGP Graphics Card

Here's the question: My computer has a PCI slot, a DIMM slot, and an AGP2 slot. This Graphics card is AGP. Is there a diference from AGP to AGP2? Will I be able to install it and play? Or will the slot not fit? If anyone can clarify that for me, I would really like to know cause I'm ready to buy this Graphics card, but just that little detail is holding me back.

2. What do you guys think of the choice? Good, bad? Will I be able to get the most out of the game? Thanks for all your help.:o

This might help:
Hardware Tips: For Fast, Easy Computing, USB Is the Bus to Ride (http://www.pcworld.com/howto/article/0,aid,78044,pg,2,00.asp)
Techadvice.com: AGP (http://www.techadvice.com/tech/A/AGP.htm)
AGP 2.0 Specification (http://esd.cs.ucr.edu/webres/agp20.pdf)

Basically 2x is faster than just an AGP 1x. 4x is even quicker.

The latest video cards all use the newer PCI Express (PCIe) slots on new motherboards. These are faster than AGP slots. You probably don't have one of these on your system.

If you can afford a 6800 you might be better off.
