I can't play!

When do you get the error message?

Your video card is a little old and could be contributing to the problem. The drivers are new, but you may want to uninstall those and try the 61.77 drivers from July 2004. This has worked with may older Nvidia cards. Make sure you uninstall any current video driver before installing another one.

The audio drivers are old from 2002. They should be updated.

You may want to try running the game in a lower screen resolution like 800x600 and with 16-bit color to see if that will help. If you cannot get the game open to change this setting you can edit the cotn.ini file in the game's folder. Open the "C:\Program Files\Tilted Mill\Children of the Nile" lder and locate the cotn.ini file. Open that file with Windows notepad.

Find the following lines:

Game Bit Depth 32

Game Window Height 768
Game Window Width 1024

Change them to:

Game Bit Depth 16

Game Window Height 600
Game Window Width 800

Save the changed file as cotn.ini in the "C:\Program Files\Tilted Mill\Children of the Nile" folder.

If you can get the game running you can change the settings from the main menus. You may want to set all the the settings to minimums or for "best performance" or even OFF and see what happens.

I'm update driver display adapters,driver soundcard and uninstall game-->re-install again.

First time I'm install this game at disk-d, then i try out install this game at disk-c.......and then now i can play!!!:D
