user interface cutoff

I just got the game today. I started playing the tutoral. I was trying to find the build mode, then realized that that part of the user interface was cutoff, it looks like its formatted to a larger screen. I'm not sure how to get it to fit the screen. I would be grateful for any help.

On the main game interface, use the settings.

Make sure that the resolution/screen size are correct.

The game is supposedly designed to only display the resolution options that your current system setup is capable of in the game's video options menu. So if you try other settings and the screen still looks cut off, chances are it may be a graphics driver problem with your graphics card.

Post your dxdiag.txt file.

If you have a Nvidia graphics card in a Windows XP desktop (not a laptop) system, you may want to try installing the older 61.77 drivers from July 2004 which have been the most stable and successful with CotN.

Otherwise wait for us to look at your dxdiag.txt file. Later drivers from Nvidia all seem to have some sort of problem. Even the latest 71.84 drivers don't seem to work for everyone.

If and when you change drivers be sure you uninstall your present driver first then install the next driver and reboot.

Some video cards are probably not going to work with CotN because of the graphics features it uses. We won't know for sure if your card will work or not until we see your dxdiag.txt file.
