Problem saving

Game runs perfect except saving.

If i try and save it, it says I'm using ilegal characters.

The game is installed at d:\games\COTN\ and there is no ilegal character in the name I'm saving it at.

Any clues?

Could it be the name of your Pharaoh (only a thought)?

I'm using the same name 'keita'.

Don't see how that could be a problem :(

Is the game making Autosave files successfully?

If so, then it's not the names in the path causing the problem; that pretty much only leaves the pharaoh name.

Did you put a space or use the ALT key while typing in the name?

What version of Windows are you using? If it is XP or 2000 are you using a account that has saving priveledges to hard drive?

Can you make a screen shot of the full saved games folder showing the path name in the browser window addresss line and post it here?
