building foundations?

hi i have a problem from time to time with my buildings only showing as foundations, i can see my people working in or around them but no structure is visible. any help please?

What kind of buildings? farmers, bricklayers will build their homes without materials. This is fast from the moment someone has taken the job.
For other buildings, you'll have to have bricks and bricklayers to bring them in order to construct the building. If the building aren't building it may be you don't have enough bricks.

hi again thanks for your replies , the brick layers have constructed the buildings and villagers taken up the posts the building offer for example my baker is making bread and my farmers are goning about their duties and can be tracked but the buildings just are not there.

Possibly a bad install or corrupted file. I would suggest that you uninstall CotN and cleanup and defrag your hard drive then reisntall the game first.

Try starting a new city and see if the problem remains. Save files made under the current install may retain the problem and may not be usable under the new install.

If that doesn't work, then post your dxdiag.txt file. You may need updated video drivers or a newer graphics card.
