ok so this is the whole story:
I try to build my own scenario. I try to play with it and the game crashed.
I updated to 1.2
I updated my display driver as suggested here to 61.77 and it made my computer crash.
I change my display card and reinstall recommended drivers and succeeded.
The game still crashes (only in the scenario I made!).
I try to build my scenario step by step and check what is wrong with it.
I found out that after I set the goals of the scenario, it happends.
(which means that only if the game has the goals I made it crashes).
for some reason the game crash at certain moment (after about 12 minutes in the game).
does anyone knows about some problums and bugs with certain victory conditions?

Have you already posted your DxDiag file?

Did you uninstall the previous video driver before you installed 61.77?
Post your dxdiag.txt file.

When you write a post, then there's under 'Additional Options' a field called 'Attach Files'. Click on 'Manage Attachments'. From there on you can locate your saved DxDiag file on your harddrive and upload it.

oh there it is :)
10X
I have found out something however...
although I am still in the middle of the testing of it...
the missions in my scenario are:
build 5 pyramids. 1 of each size.
build 5 grand temples (world level missions)
defeat a fort (world level mission)
have at least 6 large noble houses each with a mastaba and a yacht.
and prestige of 350.
rough mission I know
I tried to remove some of these goals and right now I tested the grand temples and prestige missions.
maybe someone encountered a crash in one the following missions:
building mission
deactivate a location (world level mission)
build noble houses
a requirment for yatches.
if you have, in which of them?

Your system is just able to meet the minimum requirements with only 256MB of RAM and XP Pro.
You may want to try and increase the Page File maximum setting to at least 512MB or 758MB from it's present 356MB setting.
Update your audio drivers. There is a more recent SB LIVE! driver dated February 28, 2003 (http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/download2.asp?Product_ID=4857&dlcentric=1926&Product_Name=Sound+Blaster+Live%21&OSName=Windows+XP) available.

I played the campaign, and several of the stand alone scenarios
and even when I play with certain goals it works fine...
I do believe it is a bug in one of the goals
(or maybe it is a bug that appear when you put more than certain amounts of goals or something like that....)

Since this is a custom mission that could very well be. You may have to alter or lower your goal requirements to get the scenario to work without crashing.

I narrow the problematic missions to 3 options:
- build more than 5 luxery noble houses.
- have more than 5 yatches.
- build more than 5 large mastabas.
one of those couses a crash...
however I think narrow it to only yatch and houses will be enough
becouse since the pyramids passed the test I don't see any reason why the mastabas wont.... :)
I think maybe the noble houses couse a crash when they change from small noble house to medium if this mission is on.

I finelly narrowed the problem to yatches...
before I will blam it, I'd ask...
I added a goal to have at least 6 nobles of laxurious level (large estates)
the idea was to have 6 laxery houses each with a tomb and a yatch.
so I add to have at least 6 mastabas and at least 6 yatches.
the yatch I added with varaity --> boats. (> 6)
I did it right, did I?
if I did it right than there is probebly a bug in this mission in the editor....
