problem with installation

If I start the installation is the wizzard telling to me, that it can't find the CotN.cab...the same happens with the German~1.cab!!!

Is anybody able to help me or if you had the same problems?

Inspect the CD for any dirt or scratches. Clean the disc if needed.

If that is not the problem, clean out your C:\Windows\Temp folder which is used by the installer for temp storage during the install. It may be full or cluttered and some of the files for the isntall may not have been transfered.

If that fails, try a disk cleanup and disk defragmentation then install.

Make sure you disable any background app like virus scanners, etc. before installing.

If that doesn't work, then try this:

1. Make a temp folder on your desktop.

2. Open MyComputer and then using the OPEN command access the drive that has the game CD in it. You don't want to run the installer you want to be able to see the files on the game CD.

3. With the menu showing the CD files and foldes press CTRL+A (Select all) and COPY everything at once.

4. Paste the contents that you copied to your new TEMP folder.

5. Run the setup.exe file from the TEMP folder on your hard drive.

You can delete the TEMP folder and contents later.
