Given the King Tut exhibit will be going through the US 2005-2006, I suggest you contact the three show site sponsors about who's coordinating the giftshops associated with each exhibit, and if they would be interested in carrying a "family orientated educational software title for the PC".

I mean, you've already got the logo "Are you Tut enough?" And nowadays, they route you like cattle through a chute from the exhibit through the giftshop for the exhibit. They're probably starving for something high-tech to stock. And a lot of educators, teachers, and college graduates will be there and at least see the title.

These events also always have speakers clustered around them. You might want to offer to do a one-hour talk about the Egyptian economy and what parts you were able to model in your game. You just might get sponsorship for the travel expenses.

Unfortunately museums see people in two classes: Those that are struggleing and need help (includes every academic and researcher in the universe), and those that are successful that they can hit up for big buck donations. Package yourself on the wrong side of that equation and you'll get the big pricetags.

Innovan: omg wagi (what a good idea)!

the museums here in houston have computers for visitors with games RUNNING ON THEM... including NASA (orbit changes, space shuttle landings)...

so... have a bank of pc's with CotN on them and banner "Are You Tut Enough" pharaoh funerals, pyramids, jewelry stores...
