Custom Avatars?

I read in one of the topics that custom avatars need to be enabled by the administrator. I have a custom avatar I'd like to use - it's hieroglyphs. Is this possible? Thanks!

I'm new in this forum but I have been following the CotN web site for a while. Me too I would like to use a custom avatar (I found a web site where you can transcribe your name in hieroglyphs).

For the time being there are no custom avatars. TM has indicated in another thread like this that it wants to keep a certain look and feel for the forums, which they have achieved by making the avatars they have available for us.
Do keep checking your CP (control Panel), new avatars get added every now and then.

You can add your heiroglyphs in a sig like I do my cat, but you have to do it manually each time. It does give your Post that originality you want, though. ;)

I use a Clipboard Extender program and have my cat link stored on one of my web sites so all I do is choose it and Paste it in below my posts. Others keep it in a text file on their desktop so it is handy to Copy and Paste into each Post.

Yeah, I don't think TM is interested in opening up the custom avatar feature. As Miut mentioned you can paste one to the bottom of your posts.
