In both the tutorials and campaign scenarios, after playing for 30 minutes or so, my game starts flshing/stuttering/locking up. Sometimes this happens when I try to go to the World Map and sometimes it happens when I select a building to be built.
I have downloaded and installed the recent patch and didnt notice any difference in graphic corruption frequency.
System specs: Running MS XP (Home), 1.4Gh AMD processor, A7M266 Mobo, Asus GF3 card (61.77 Drivers), Philips Acoustic Edge Sound card (1.89 Driver), Samsung SD M1502 DVD drive, Plextor CD burner, USRobotics 56K modem, 512MB Ram, 60GB HD (with about 40GB free).

Dxdiag file attached.

Dxdiag file attached.Ok, I noticed in your DXDIAG file that your modem is your default playback device for sound. Many WAV or VOICE type modems hijack the playback setting. I suggest you change that back so the playback device is your sound card and not the modem. This is done the the XP control panel, Sound Speech and Audio Devices option, then Sounds and Audio Devices option. Click on the Audio tab and change the default playback device setting. Click APPLY and OK. Close the menus.
