I bought the game as soon as I saw it in the store (was going to wait until Christmas but decided I couldn't wait, especially as the retail version had the Add On CD). :D I have installed the latest version of Quick Time and the music plays fine but in the walkthroughs I can hear this scratchy little voice talking as the scenes change but cannot hear or understand the words. :( I have the volume cranked up as high as it will go. The GAME volume is fine but I would really like to hear the walkthroughs.

I'm not familiar with the make of your sound card, but you might want to look for an updated driver for it. 2003 is a bit old.

Make sure that your sound card is the the "default" playback device on your your system. Some modems with VOICE or WAV functions hijack the playback setting and can cause problems. If you have XP this is done through the Control Panel Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices menu. Make sure tha AUDIO and VOICE settings are set for your soundcard as the playback device.

Failing that, run DXDIAG and see if your card tests out properly under the SOUND tab.

Lobito: In Game Settings, Audio turn the music down and the voices and sound effects up.

Like you, I like hearing them talk :D !
