widescreen ??????

Hi guys,
When i ever i run the game it goes into widescreen mode and whatever i do i can't change the resolution!!!!! Does anyone have any clue what might be going on? Any info might be helpfull

Probably an obvious question that you've already checked, but is the game resolution under 'settings' the same as your screen resolution?

ok just fixed it, it was my refresh rate !!!! It changed each time the game ran and i made it to stay at 60 at all times. Thanks anyway for replying so soon :)
