I'm having troubles trying out the Demo. I installed it, and when i clicked to play, a black screen comes on with nothing on it, and it makes a "paaa" sound. :(

Hi qt!

Sorry to hear that you're having problems playing the demo :( Could you give us some more information, perhaps your dxdiag output? (feel free to ask if you're not sure how to get this information). It may be something as simple as updating your video card or sound card drivers, but we'll need to see what driver versions you've currently got installed on your machine.

I'm not sure what the "paaa" sound is that you're referring to, so hopefully we can take a look at your drivers and fix it that way!

The "paaa" sound I hear is called the "AHD3 Error" sound. Like when you do something wrong on your PC. How do I get the info you want? The problem is when i click to play the demo a black screen appears as if a video or something is about to start, and then the 'paaa' sound comes, and the black screen just stays there. :(

Sounds like a critical error sound when you get a Runtime error message.

To get the info the dev's want, run DXDIAG from the START/RUN menu.

Click Start and Run. Then type DXDIAG and click OK.

Then after the program loads click the SAVE button and it will create a DXDIAG.TXT file.

Then come back here, post a new message and using the MANAGE ATTACHMENTS button below the text boxes where you type your message BROWSE for the DXDIAG.TXT file you created on your computer and click the UPLOAD button. Close the upload windown when done and then SUBMIT your message.
