A nasty bug!

In the save game that I have provided the laborers got half way done with the medium pyramid, but will not finish it. Can someone explain? If I want can start on another pyramid easily, but my laborers will not finish the previous one. I have patched the game.

You have to start the game fresh with the patch. Installing the patch mid-game may not solve the problem.

This did not occur before the patch, so why should it occur afterwards?

Googoo: In the end, starting a new scenario from scratch to best use the patch is the thing. But I agree with testing whether patch helps problems in scenarios we've already invested so much time in. So...

1. You might try starting very small pyramid closer to the overseer and laborers than the stuck one. See if they work that one without getting stuck. Then...

2. Drastic solution: Just delete the old medium pyramid and place (replace) your new one. Trust they'll build it ok too.

Note: I just finished a great pyramid after patching. It wasn't stuck though, just slow, and the patch definitely fixed that.

They finally built it once I had started on another, which doesn't make sense. Also, they've done this on the three consecutive pyramids as well, they get to the last block and just stop, but the overseers keep returning every day. They will not finish the other pyramid until they get to the same stuck point on another. Theirs an overseer right next to the pyramid. They must be waiting until i'm about to die.

Never mind, I restarted the cpu and they are now working! :D

They didn't require a reboot after patch install? I guess I just do that out of habit now.
