I've been expiriencing that game (CotN) gamma sometimes changes my system gamma to very bright if I adjust in-game brightness. When I completely exit the game, I have to manually reset the system gamma to bring it back to previous setting.
It's ok to me to manually adjust when it happens, but a bit of inconvenience.
