Is there a way to swap MIDDLE and RIGHT mouse buttons?? Moving the viewpoint is used MUCH MORE than rotating it and my index finger is KILLING ME!!

Please tell me there is a way to hack this, because I can't stop playing and my index finger will need to be put in a mini-sling. That will, of course, affect my prestige negatively as my people will become impatient with me moving to the edges of the screen to scroll.

Have you tried utilizing the keyboard for a while? The keyboard commands are on the inside back cover of the manual...

You could then share the load with your off-hand!

Tedbell: Two tips I've found helpful...

1. To pan around the map fast, move mouse to edge of screen AND press corresponding arrow key at same time. It goes twice as fast! No middle button needed.

2. Go into Settings Interface and increase Scroll Speed.

If you want to rotate the map without holding mouse's right button, just press and hold tilde ~ key on keyboard and move the mouse, no need to click, press and hold on the right hand, just move.

And if you want to jump to a romote site from your city area, build a Guard Post there, but it takes a bit long for Bricklayers to walk there. Then assign a short cut key for it by Ctrl+#. When you want to go there, just hit that key # twice.

If you want to move to a spot superfast, just pick the spot on the small oval minimap and click. Or you can drag the with "view" indicator on that minimap to the area of the map you want to see.

Thanks for all of the suggestions! I know about the keyboard shortcuts, but some of the other suggestions I must have skipped over..

It would be nice to be able to swap the button functions, but keyboard/guardpost suggestions will work...
