I started building a small pyramid. As the pyramid started reaching completion of the block hauling phase, I started a second small pyramid right next to it. With two overseers on the job, things were progressing on both pyramids. Then the original pyramid had *one* more block to be delivered, but it wouldn't happen. Laborers worked exclusively on the second pyramid. After a while, I noticed that both overseers (sometimes individually, sometimes together) would climb to the top of that almost-done pyramid, and as they'd get to the top, theyd suddenly disappear and appear at its base.
At this point, they'd usually head over to work on the other pyramid. It went this way until the second pyramid reached the same state of construction, then the laborers finally delivered that last block of limestone to the first pyramid, then the second. Carving started and the pyramids finished just fine. But in case anyone thinks this might be an issue, I saved the game when this wierdness was going on. If you want it, I'll post it.
