Ship cargo and crews?

Hi

Something I've noticed is that, for me, ships don't have anything on them. But while watching the videos on the bonus CD I could see ships with stuff on them.

I was wondering if this might be something to do with videocard capabilities? I have a Geforce 4600Ti with the latest 66.93 drivers and DX9c. Maybe it's time for a new vidcard :)

I don't think it's your card. The intro video is not a direct capture of the game, and they were able to make it much more detailed and realistic. (Disclaimer: not jumping on CotN, love CotN, offer soul in exchange for time to play CotN, etc. :D :p )

But, it's not the intro video I'm talking about. It's the walkthrough videos, the devs talk while someone moves the camera around an actual map.

Was it the ones from the bonus CD/website, or the ones posted early on?

Edit: Ok, I found a ship in the Winning Strategies bonus video, that has boxes of cargo. Not sure what changed between the version that these videos were taken from and the retail, but obviously the ship picture did...

Ok nevermind, I was getting a little confused between different types of ships. But, still the first trade ship we we get to see the "Cargo Barge" has nothing on it at all. Ghost ships :eek:

I think I'll get a new videocard. Any excuse :D
