people with a computer similar to p4 2.4ghz, 512ddr + gf4 440mx

will the game run smoothly with this config. I know the minimum and recommended specs.

wich are the different grafix settings in the game (low, medium , high?)

in reviews their are talking about the engine that is somewhat out of date. so maybe I can run that game smoothly with normal details on my pc?

Your processor and memory seem fine to run CotN.

How many MB is your graphics card? If it is 64 MB and above, you should certainly be able to play it. :D

i have a 2.8, 512 ddr, and a radeon 9000 pro (128 vid card ram.)

the game runs perfectly with all settings maxed. sound and gfx.

Yes, I'd say this game will run on your system. The only caveat is the video card, the GF440 MX is basically a Geforce 2 with new market branding, therefore you will be stuck with Low Water and Sky settings.
