Twisted Image

After starting the game on my desktop PC, the startscreen (where you chose what you want to do) is not displayed properly. The image is somewhat stretched and curled. Parts of the image (the play button, "fall" off screen because of this wrong display) On my laptop the game runs without any problems.. Does anybody know what the source of this problem might be

I noticed on my machine that the game set my monitor's resolution to one that is not natively supported by it. I had to change the resolution and make some adjustments to my horizonal and vertical size and location to make the whole screen visible, but then it played fine, and does reset everything back to normal when it closes.

Set your screen resolution higher on your desktop. What your reporting sounds like you have your screen resolution set at 800X600.

I will try to solve your problem, because the same thing happened to me. Some buttons were off screen. On my monitor, the whole image was moved towards lower left corner.

Now, my screen is always set to 1024X768, so that was not the problem. I used buttons on my monitor to move and stretch the picture (while in the game), until it looked good.

Now, you might think your desktop will be all messed up when you exit the game, right? Well, it's not... it stays the same as before, only the game remembers these new settings on your monitor when you launch it... Weird, eh?

Hope this helps. And I would really appreciate the answer why this happens. I've never have this problem before, and I have over 250 games in my collection...

I also have an Athlon (2400+) and a GeForce FX9600 with 256 Mb of memory.
