Yes, that prolific poster, Son of Moose, has broken the 1000 mark and has ascended to the position of scribe. Happy posting!

Given SoM's recent writing proficiency, I think Scribe is a very appropriate title!

Yes --- Enigmatic Sphinx is too right. Especially as I try to make a living from my research writing prowess (such that it is). :)

Sheesh Moose... I just made craftsman. Congrats buddy! Others of us will probably get promoted more often once the game is released. :D

Thank you :D and congratulations to you as well!! :)
You will find that you will hopefully make fairly rapid process through the initial ranks. :) It just takes progressively longer after 200 or so posts to reach the next level. :o

It's easy for you to say that! ;)
I thought your next title would have been a Vizier but Scribe sounds elegant too. Congrats, SoM! :D

Many thanks for your wishes!! :D

I must admit that I was secretly hoping for something grand like that :o but I suppose that one has to REALLY work hard for that one!! :p
Maybe Priest might be the next one?
Well, as they say, every long journey starts with a single step ... :)

Congrats Son of Moose from a lowly vagrant. And here i thought i was posting a lot, more than i have in any other forum anyway. Ahh well, time is such a precious commodity for me, I guess i will keep plodding my way up the ranks. Enjoy your shiney new title! :D

Perhaps you should change your avatar to the scribe one now?

I might well consider it :) --- although (for better or for worse) my background is in the Healthcare profession. :o Therefore my avatar is fairly appropriate. :)
(Un)fortunately they didn't wear white coats in those days ... :p

But I am sure (and really hope) that you will continue to find many more interesting posts to write ... :D

Yep, as luminaries we lose the name promotions. Too bad. Had I not been busy elsewhere and a luminary we might already know how many posts it takes to become "pharaoh", assuming there is such a board rank. ;)

There is no such rank. We don't want to award any titles that could be interpreted as outranking "Luminary." I honestly don't remember if there's a level higher than Scribe or not. And even if I did remember, I'm not sure I'd tell everyone. :p

How about the Physician or the Apothocary? :D :p

I have visions of a Moose-headed god of correspondence with a chatty squirrel delivering his messages to the mortals. :p

LOL gem... read some of SoM's post. He "indeeds" nearly every one. :D
It really takes little effort to get your post count up. In a week's time I went from vagrant to villager to craftsman.
Once the game is out.. it will be easier for you to get in more posts. (probably in answer to peeps like me who always yell for help!) ;)

Many thanks for the lovely picture. :)
Now there is a most worthy god!! :D He would most certainly deserve a place in the official CotN page of gods. ;)

Well, yes indeed!! :p I suppose I say that when I wish to strongly endorse a particular point of view. I never realised that ... :o
