Gallery Page needs text saying "Click picture to expand"
(get to it by clicking "Random View" on the Home page)

example

The midsized picture shown can be seen in full size (showing alot more detail). I didnt realize this til I clicked on it by mistake.

Might be good to fix that before the flood of people looking at the site begins.

I noticed it a while ago, but just now thought of telling them about it.

I looked at the pix before and said -- 'oh look at the pictures' and went on to the next one.

Then I clicked on one for some reason and it expanded (from medium size to the full screen sized view)

The home page says [ Enlarge Screenshot ] for the random view
but no similar instruction appears on the page with the medium view (and the rollover only says the pictures indexed name).

Most display systems have only 2 levels (thumbnail and full size) so I wasnt expecting another level of size.

Wodinoneye:

As large full-sized pictures will MOST DEFINITELY assist one to see more of the amazing cities (and structures) that one could build, your suggestion is a really good one. :D :D

I have wondered why the need for a medium sized image and not just have full size images from the thumbnail. I guess it suits some people that want to see a larger image but don't want to see a full-sized image because of bandwidth.

Anyway just by passing your cursor over the mid-level image it should change to the pointing finger to alert you that the image is a link as well.

Another reason that I can think of is that the full size images exceed the width of a browser, even on 1024X768 resolution, so you'd have to go one-up to fit it.

I hate having to scroll to see everything!! :D

Exactly the reason why they are the size they are. It's also nicer for dial-up folks.
