Locusts maybe, frogs maybe, but I'm not so sure about "burning hail"... maybe just plain old every day hail.

Sand storms, yes. Rain, yes. There were plenty of natural disasters that could be used to spice things up.

Plague, yes. I recently read a article stating that they have traced the bubonic plague as far back as ancient Egypt by examining fossilized flea remains.

Floods, yes. In another article it was discussed how at least two Egyptian cities had been swept away by the flooding of the Nile.

I'm less in favor of trying to recreate biblical accounts just to add "something different" to the game. No to things like the "river of blood."

Unless my memory fails me, I think earthquakes were an occasional occurence as well.

How about the "river of the red tide". Beware the sea food. What some show that tried to explain the plagues scientifically. Basically the red algae killed the fish which then was food for the bugs. The bugs poplation exploded which then caused a frog population boom. Really the egyptians should have had a frog leg feast.

As for the burning hail that be an eye candy thing. white hail covers your city and boom you have a tinder box for a city.
