I was a frequenter at the old Impressions games forums. When they moved to the Sierra "message boards" I started showing up less and less and then not at all. Last night, I went back there to see if there was any news. I was told about Tilted Mill.
I am extremely happy about this! It seems just like the 'old days', at a good forum with a new game coming out. And in 3D where you can walk through the streets! It's just like in all the "What do you want in the next game?" threads.
Well, hi to everyone. I recognize a lot of you, glad to see you here! :D

Welcome Scott7.
"What do you want in the next game?" threads.
I would certainly be extremely interested to hear your ideas. Are you for or against the idea of a combined City Builder-RTS genre (which is my current "hobby-horse")?

Well, I'm certainly not against it. I've always considered City Builder games to be RTS's to an extent, so I'm not exactly sure what you mean. I am very excited about the changes I've heard about for Children of the Nile from the City Builder Series. It's nice to see a new type of City Builder.

Thanks for the reply.
Indeed CB games are a type of RTS. There should be some more details in the thread appearing 10 slots below this. Please feel free to read it and to respond. Perhaps this debate needs new input as it seems to be losing some steam of late. :(
The idea has its supporters but it also has its detractors as well. It seems to be something on which members have seemingly "agreed to disagree". :)

Welcome Scott the usual maddness of a new city builder game with gamers waiting with bated breath for information or better yet the game :D
