COTN demo

I will be getting COTN soon, I would like to try the demo. But when I try and open it, I get a dialog box that says the program has stopped working, and windows is looking for a soultion. Is there anything I can do, I am running Vista,btw

Please post your DX diag so we can see your system. Mostly one of the things you need to do is to install the latest DX 9c it will add files to your DX 10 so the game will work.

I don't remember how to get it, there is no "run" box in vista. I am going to keep looking, but I tought that I would post this, in case someone is here who could answer before I can find it.

Your system looks pretty good except there are alot of background programs running shown by your page file useage. But I think your problem is that you need to install DX 9 as I stated in my first post.

Wel, the fiirst download froze, I am downloading the second one, and it worked. Now I have to figure out the game. Thatnks so much.
