Game chrashes always

Hello everyone,

I'm new on this forum so if I forget mentioning something: Sorry!

I have a problem with my savegame. Everytime I load it after a minute or so it chrashes and COTN shuts down. I tried other savegames, they don't have the same problem. It would be very nice of you if someone could try this on his/her computer. Thanks!

PS: don't bother watch the lay-out, like I said I'm a new player. :)

After some more searching in the forum, I discovered on my computer a second savegame with the same name. I don't know which one is the correct one. The savegame above is from the COTN map and the savegame below is from my documents.

They are probably the same save file.

I.used the first one. Ran your city for 20 mins without problems.

You might be having a problem with the autosave function. It sometimes causes crashes on some systems randomly. You may want to turn it off by moving the slider down to the lowest setting. Play the game, if it doesn't crash then that was probably the problem. Just remember to make periodic manual saves as you play. You may be able to turn it back on again at some later point.

I turned auto save games off after I installed the game, so that can't be the problem. Thanks for trying, I'll see if the new save game runs now.

EDIT: When I try to load the game you have uploaded, my version of COTN shuts down immediately after loading (without mentioning an error)

Is there another cause other then the automatic save games why my game crashes?

Drivers...??

Alot of people are saying older drivers work better....

Do you have your game updated to 1.3?

Edit: I let the game run longer, 40 mins, and this time it did crash all on its own. Not sure what to tell you there, you may have to start the map over again just in case there is a flaw in the save file.
