Hello to all members ,
I have recently updated my Children of the nile game from 1.0 to version 1.3 .
Till update 1.2 , my game was running fine , but when i updated my game to version 1.3 , i m receiving an error stating
" the procedure entry point _AIL_init_sample@4 could not be located in the dynamic link library mss32.dll "
but this library is present in my children of the nile game folder , what should i do?
please help on this issue .

To make sure all the game files are present and correct try running the verify game cache option in Steam.
Load your Steam menu. Then right click on the Cotn game entry on My Games menu in Steam. Select Properties then the Local Files tab. You should see the option to verify the cache listed there.

If you don't have the steam enhanced version then it sounds like you have a corrupted file, namely the mss32.dll file. It may be necessary to uninstall and reinstall the game and the patch.

okies
i m getting the game downloaded again ,
but please suggest whether to go for 1.3 update or not?
as the main purpose of 1.3 patch was to make the game compatible with windows vista n i m using windows xp.

I would. If you leave it at 1.0 you'll be out of date in terms of what game fixes came before 1.3 too. Up to you.

Good luck.
I know it is a pain, but until you get a working copy of the game this is the sort of thing you will have to do.
