Editor problem

I've a problem with the editor in Children of the Nile. Everytime I start it it changes the screen resolutions so I can only see part of the screen. It's almost as if the game refreshes itself and then changes the resolution.

I'm running it on a windows 2000. I had the problem before and after I installed the enhanched edition.

Does anyone have the solution to this problem?
