Help!

I bought the game and installed it, it ran okay until I'd try to view my scenario information and it would crash. So I found the up-date, had problems with the d3dx9_33.dll - but read the thread and got that fixed with the direct x 10 update. Now, I can start my OLD game, but it still crashes with my scenario information, but I can't start a new campaign because it crashes when I choose the city and click 'open'.. here's my dxdiag..

Please help - I've been dying to play the game for weeks!

Did you try running the game "as administrator"?

Right click on the CotN desktop icon and there should be something such as "run as" in the right click menu. Select Administrator.

OR....

Right click on the actual CotN.exe file. Select Properties. Then click the Compatability tab, and select Run as Administrator, and you may even want to try setting the MODE to Windows XP SP2.
