How to Uninstall SC Societies?!

I could play the game for a while before applying the patch but now I can't play for 10 minutes straight, so I want to try reverting back to before. Unfortunately, when I try to uninstall the game, the uninstaller freezes up.

I tried deleting the game manually, but the problem is that when trying to install again it doesnt recognise that the game's gone and there is no option to install (repair and uninstall are still there). I tried clicking repair but that just freezes too.

What should I try?!

before you can install the game again you have to make sure all the rest bits are out.

The uninstaller didn`t work for me either so I managed it this way:

At first you enter into registry and find the 2 software-folders in "Current Users" and in "Local Machine".
Look out in both software`s for EA-games and delete them using right-click and delete.

When done open explorer and find the SCS-folder and delete single folders by hand, better one by one cos they are huge.

When done do a reboot and check if SCS has gone from software-list. If not get yourself CCleaner. Open CCleaner/Extras/Programs.......if SCS listed here you can delete it now.

Give CCleaner a run with Cleaner and Registry.

Now try installing the game again!

you can always use third-party software to force an uninstall..

i use 'Error Expert' when programs insist on being difficult.
