Game won't install

I received my copy yesterday and went to install it to my second drive. (Main is C secondary D) When it says copying new files it doesn't progress and I can hear a sound like my drive is having a hard time accessing the disc. This problem happened to me before with EA games from their copy protection, is this a problem with the disc? I just installed another game 2 days ago with no problems so it's not likely to be the drive.

I had the same troubles when trying to reinstall it. I think its securom acting buggy.
Cancel the install then retry a time or two eventualy it will go.
