An issue to look into that may cause problems with memory usage/and/or slow downs lockups.
Sims get stuck. Rogue/unhappy sims. But I dont see them walking around, so I slowly scroll through each building looking for them.
Some get stuck on objects on the "sidewalk"/roadside such as lightpoles or mailboxes. Some get stuck in subway entrances/exits. Some are stuck at busstops when they bounce off the wall and hit an object before entering the door. Some get stuck on building corners.
These can be fixed by deleting the road or buliding they are stuck on/in.
Many, and I mean most of them, get stuck when they "melt" into the ground to move somewhere when far away. When they reappear they are stuck and can not move. Or stuck in the entrance/exit point inside the building.
Nothing will unstick these sims. Just have to wait till they are rogue for a while and eventualy they dissapear.
Maybe look into tweaking the pathfinding, or figure a better way to let the AI reset the path.
Hers a link to a sanpshot of one that is stuck.

Kinda sad when I spend my time looking for stuck sims yes?
Ah the single old man life. Gotta love it.
