HELP, o..

Hi,

I did the stuppidest thing on earth,
Ive installed the game,
before playing I edited the preferences ans options ( graphic )
Now when i start my game the menu is stretched out over the monitor,
so I cant play it, because the play 'button' is gone away,
i can only see the Internet-connection button..

also i cant get into the options-button,
so i cant edit the graphics and size,

Could someone help?:(

There might be another way - I just mentioned the one sure-fire way. :)
I don't remember the game taking that long to install ... maybe 7-10 minutes.

I'd guess you accidentally set a resolution that your monitor doesn't support, or something akin to that? I'm not sure how to go about getting around that once you can't see the main menu buttons.

Edit: If you were able to create a User Profile name before you changed the settings, you might be able to open the videosettings.xml file in Notepad, change the resolution dimension numbers, save the file, and see if that works.
2ndEdit: Looking at it, I don't think you had to have a User Profile to check that file ... my error. It's in the MyDocuments/SimCity Socities folder
