m one of the many people who cannot place trees, Ive checked EA and Tilted Mill forums and read all the posts. I have installed it on 3 different computers, still no trees. I think it may be my graphics card, Ive already spent 50 buck and lots of time getting this game and being able to play it, and before I go and spend another 150 on a graphic card Id like to know from those of you who can place trees, what kind of graphics card do you have?? I REALLY REALLY would like trees, in fact, I dreamt of trees last night.. Could I get some help and info here please???? thanks guys!

I haven't read the posts about trees, but you guys do know that you need to drag an area for the trees to place correct? You can't just put down 1 tile and have a tree show up.

Yes, I know about the click and drag for multiple trees and the plots for single trees, I can see the trees with the green placement squares, but when I click on the tree/trees to place it/them, the game charges me the money, but No tree or trees appear!

One of the posters has an excuse for this, namely "I blame my minimum computer barely over specs. Everything else works perfectly!"
You might want to post your dxdiag so we could see if there is something obvious there.

Heres my dxdiag, I could not find a graph that showed if my graphics card was higher than the ATI 9600 requirements, but I think it is.. This is as much as I can post here.

Your graphic card is just about above the line (also your drivers seem to be a bit old), required RAM is 512 MB and you've got 510. It would be better if you could post all of the dxdiag as an attachment, there might be something in there.

Indeed, those video drivers are from 3 yrs. ago. More ram would be an improvement.

Well, after figuring out how much its gonna cost me to upgrade my ram and graphics card, Im just going to get a new computer, I need one anyway. Lets hope game install goes well and I get TREES!!!!! But thanks SOOOO much for all your help people! My teens will be happy, less fighting over computers...:o

I'm one of the players who doesn't get trees. I expect another patch that will mainly deal with the crashes that some other players get. Probably also with some mod issues.

I also predict that there will be trees in it for us. ;)
