When I am playing it for around 1-2 hours continuously, it will crash. Sometimes, when my city is a bit 'larger' (about a quarter of the whole map) it will lag, and the 'chance' that the game will auto-crash also 'increased' (usually it crashes when my city is quite 'large') I wonder is it just me, or other people also having the same problem?

My PC :
Intel Pentium 4 3.20GHz
1024MB RAM
nVidia 6600 256MB PCI-E (ForceWare version : 163.71)
Windows XP SP2

Thanks :)

You are not alone with this problem. It seems like this is a general wide spread issue with the game. Hopefully we will get our solution soon.! :(

After reading the official Sim City Societies forum, I've found that most of the people there also crash when their cities gets bigger. This game seriously needs a new patch to solve this problem (my game still crashes when the city gets big, with and without patch)

Thanks :)

Need Help your problem is two fold 1. you are very low on free space on the windows drive it doesn't allow enough space for windows to move files around 2. change the size of page file/swap file to a maximum of 3gb.

Ok, it crashed again (the game became a screenshot, but with sound. So I need to use the 'End Task' button to close it). Now I have about 15GB in my C:\ drive (should be more than enough) and my pagefile is around 2+GB (Only about 1GB used when running the game). I think its the game's problem, not my PC....

Thanks :)

Now for some odd reasons (now I have more space in my C:\, and my city population is just around 500-3000) it just crashes more rapidly. Even in windowed mode. I don't think I will play it until a new patch comes out.

Thanks :)
