No news on transportation, sorry.

C4 has all kinds of weather/disasters. Perhaps more weather than you want. Players yelled & screamed that there was too much weather in the Demo. SCS players will probably want to be able to turn them off. ;)

In the IGN video each car stopped at every intersection. As a TM player, watching something stop was quite a shock! :eek: I didn't notice the things you claim (going through each other), but I still haven't re-downloaded to get the very end.

U-drive-it. TM games have always had character tracking keys. COTN has forward & backwards (still can zoom while in this mode) view. C4 not as much (just above tracking with zoom). Doable!

We can go inside C4 buildings. That is where we found the hiding MONKEYS !!! Make sure you look there for SCS LLamas !!! :)

Going into buildings is going a little too much into Sims 2 detail than I'd like in a Sim City game, and it would bog me down with 'too much' detail - while a cool idea, perhaps more suited to the Urbz: Sims in the City than to Sim City itself.
Weather will no doubt feature in the new game, but transport has got a lot of people extremely concerned. I don't see the game drawing such a big audience from the SC4 crowd (some of whom have been quite vocal in many aspects) if it doesn't incorporate transportation options, and personally, it would make it that much less a city simulator that it would not be a 'favourite' game to play - instead it will fill in some of those rainy days every blue moon that I get to play some 'fun' game that I don't really want to spend time with, as opposed to SC4 or The Sims 2 which I play almost every weekend.

actually it wasn't going into the buildings so much as "clipping" the camera into the meshes... inside were easter eggs ect but there wasn't really an interior
