How long since SimCity Societies has been announced? Is it a week?
It looks like there are some guys out there that really "love" Tilted Mill and what they've done with Caesar 4.
Although TM has done an excellent job with CotN (I'm still playing it), they messed up Caesar 4 (only lasted a couple of weeks on my computer, I never could find something to like about it) and they can't afford to mess up SimCity as well, that will be two in a row for them.
Let's hope they won't fail this time too.

You are forgetting that Maxis and Will are driving this one too? So you are slamming Maxis and Will? What kind of loyal fans are ya?

I haven't seen anything that says Will Wright agrees with this 100%

You haven't seen anything that says he hates it 100% either. All we have is Wright saying he didn't like the direction that SC4 was going and he wanted to do SC5 differently.
Simdude, not only are there people who love Tilted Mill, there many of us who think the City Builders are better games than SimCity. Hopefully, our wishes won't be drowned out in the hardcore SC fan wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Internet petitions have not, nor will they ever, change anything.
I'm just disappointed that a giant share of fans has turned out to be no more than a bunch of pathetic oxygen thieves. :(

The petition says that you want maxis to do SS. Are you forgetting that maxis was bought out by EA and the only part of it left is the EA Sims Division???
And Will Wright isn't doing it because hes too busy with Spore.

It is my opinion that Will was overruled by select top brass and EA Executives. I've never known Will to let one of his projects be headed by a team outside Maxis. Of course, there is a first time for everything.

C IV lasted 5 hours on my pc, then it was gone for good. I would rather play C III, C IV is crap.

I am going to be honest here, and I know Im going to be flogged for saying it ;)
I always had mixed feeling for Caesar IV, I think it was a great game that was like all the Cbs that came before it except with bright and candyland like 3d graphics. that was the reason I loved it and the reason I hated it... for me it felt exactly liek the older cbs with some upgrades, I will elaborate... almost every feature of the game was a feature in older games, like placing a house and watcing them evelve (although this was simplified abit) all the buildings except the basilica were available in C3 (it replaced the senate building) except afew of the military buildings perhaps.. it played and felt like Caesar III-zues-pharoh to me (not a bad thing I guess) even the new walkers and 3d Gfx were done before in Cotn... Im not saying this game has absolutly nothing new it does have some new "features" and it was and still is a good game that is reminicent of all the older Cbs because it IS the older cbs with 3d gfx o_0
this isn't bad I admit as the old games were good and I did enjoy them but it also irritated me to no end
I wanted C4 to be beyond what was done before and be innovative and different. I don't want to pay for and play the same game with some new features 4 times in a row and to be honest .. If I wanted to Play C3 I would reinstall it and play it and the same thing for c2 and caesar but I don't ecpect c3 to be like c4 when I play it because it isn't (and infact is radically different I feel) the same as I wouldn't want (but got) c3 out of c4
but then again I have played all of them for more than five hours :p
Edit: I admit that some of this is personal feelings and so am not going to push it as a fact:)
