Ok, so I'm really interested in this game, not completely in the way I am interested with SimCity 4, but I believe it has many elements that I wanted that SC4 lacked.

But anyways, I was wondering if it would be possible to allow some BETA testing of SCS in the SimTropolis community and have them post reviews on SimTrop? I know the game is far from BETA, but I'm just throwing the idea out there...

I really want to see a review that is written by a regular joe member of SimTropolis before I buy the game...I also wouldn't mind being a BETA tester, but that's not an issue lol...

Anyways, I hope you guys will consider that idea. I sincerely apologize for the immaturity that some of my fellow members exhibited to you guys...I can tell you have been aggrivated by their ignorance, but please, ignore them, they are certainly not true representatives of the SimTropolis community.

Looking forward to hearing more about the new SimCity,

Presuming there *is* custom content allowed of the type we have come to love and enjoy from ST, I would highly recommend TM pick 'la creme da la crop' of certain *specific* issues and give them a 'test box' that has code only to that specific issue, all under an NDA of course. And, being under an NDA, they couldn't legally TELL us if they were or were not involved. Then have the group relay problems they had or things they liked back to the project team for rework. And, of course, it gives those people a leg-up on when SC5 is actually released: They would have custom content ready to go, and they would have pointers to guide the rest of us.

This would also serve to strengthen ties between the existing SC4 community with word-of-mouth promotion of SC5.

Of course, they couldn't do 'reviews' on a black-box geared only on a *specific* custom-content issue, and an NDA would preclude from posting anything until the NDA is lifted. But if I found out 'The Gang' posted content at ST for SC5 the day the NDA is lifted, I would be inclined to buy SC5 simply to see what I've come to enjoy for SC5 by the various peeps of SimTrop.
