...it better run better than Caesar IV. I know it has alot of things under the hood but still a big city will bring a system down to its knees.
I love Caesar IV so I am not knocking the gameplay as far as building the city goes but whats the point of all those graphic options if the game can get to the crawling stage. What really bugs me most of all is that you have to turn off shadows pretty early on. That changes the look of the game completely! Shadows make it look great!
I don't have a lowbie system either and still...... I try all the tweaks/advice in those forums and its the same for most folks. Ends up bein' a crawl.:(
Don't forget performance along with gameplay is all I'm sayin'......:eek: :)
In fact don't be afraid to stay away from some of the bells and whistles so the game has better performance. It doesn't have to be UT3! Oh, except for shadows. ^_^
